Today I would like to inform you about a new financial assistance. We all use gas to cook food . It is a very important thing in our life. The central government had given us several benefits related to gas cylinders.Those benefits were useful to all ordinary people.
Today I want to introduce you to a scheme .It is called Pradhan Mandhri ujjwala yojana. It was introduced in Uttarpradesh in 2016.Its main aim is to provide health for women and children by providing them with a clean cooking fuel. This scheme boosts women empowerment, prevent health hazards.
This scheme will provide 5 crore LPG connections. They will give financial support Rs 1600 for BPL /AAY ration card families. They will get subsidized gas from Indian gas,HP,Bharat gas .
Eligibility
- Woman should be above the age of 18 yrs
- BPL families
- They must have a nationalized bank account .
- The household not have LPG connection
