The central and state government benefits of August 

     The central and state governments have announced various benefits for us in the time of this  onam. The central and state governments have given us a lot of benefits in the last few months in the time of covid-19. They were the greatest help to the common man. Therefore it is essential that all the benefits of this month of August reach the hands of all those who are eligible.

           Let us first look at what benefits the central government  has in store for us in the month of August. This month Rs 2,000 was credited to our bank account. This is the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi. Benefits of Kisan Samman Nidhi in all the North Indian states have started in connection with the Rakshabandhan. In our state too,  the distribution of that amount will start very soon.

              For all the priority card holders in the state, special scheme provided by the central government is Garib Kalyan Yojana. This scheme provides of 5 kg of rice per adult. Similarly,  a card will get 1 kg of Pulses. Last month’s legumes have arrived. In addition about 2 kg of pulses will be available this month. There is also a plan to get 5 kg of grains per adult. Distribution will begin in the second half of each month. 

          Similarly, without any special requirements of the  ration card, for all students in grades 1 to 8 in the state, government aided and unaided educational students received free kits. This kit will be reach remaining students. In addition the second distribution of this kit is about to begin. Parents can receive kits  from the schools themselves.

          The state government has decided to distribute free kits related to Onam. The kits, which cost around Rs 440 crore are being distributed. Be sure to buy and take kits on the schedule dates.

            Similarly the pension distribution in the state is progressing. Funds are currently being transferred to banks. Rs 2600 has been reached. About Rs 1165 crore has been set aside  for social security pension. About 48 ½ lakh people are eligible for this pension. There are also those who have around Rs 10 lakh to buy welfare benefits. About Rs 165 crore has been set aside for them.

          Similarly APL card holders are given 10 kg of special rice for Rs 15 in addition to the benefit they get. Take care to avail all the benefits of the central and state governments. Please share this information to others.
