Life mission scheme provides quality housing to the underprivileged sections of society. The Kerala government introduced a livelihood inclusion and financial empowerment program for homeless people. According to this scheme, in its 3rd phase ,over 1.5 lakhs homes were constructed across the state. In phase 1,life mission provided 52,000 houses and in phase 2,life mission provided 78432 houses.LIFE housing scheme implemented most of the houses in Thiruvananthapuram district. homeless people. Under this scheme, housing complexes will be built with modern amenities and will be made for beneficiaries. As a part of this scheme provides primary health care, skill development and geriatric support.
It provides safe and decent housing options to the people in Kerala within the next 5 years.The aim of this scheme is to provide self employed,earn living,participate decently in social processes ,and benefit from social welfare schemes. It covers people staying outlying,coastal areas, plantation areas ,and temporary housing.

How to apply online
- Visit the official website of life mission.
- Select the registration form.
- Fill your name and mobile number in the registration form.
- Generate OTP number, verify contact details.
- Fill the registration form,submit the details.
There are 3 steps to shortlist the beneficiaries of this scheme. Social and caste survey conducted by central government. The field level officers visit the beneficiaries for verification. Record the details and documents and submit to the local self government institutions. The final list will be published at the local panchayat.
Kerala government announced insurance coverage for houses built under life mission project.They will get insurance coverage Rs 4 lakhs for 3 years .The premium will be paid by state government. After the period, the owner would have to bear expenses.

And again published the list based on ward.If your name is in the list now, you should submit ration card,aadhar card, caste certificate, income certificate ,disability certificate, landless certificate etc.people should have below 25 cents in panchayat and below 5 cents in municipality and corporation.
If you are eligible and not included in the list, you can file an appeal to the panchayat secretary. You should file an appeal within 7 days before 22 March.If they didn’t consider your appeal, you can file an appeal to the collector on April 6 to 13.At April 30, final list will be published.Now you can check the list .
