How to make a tasty sponge cake without baking soda  

        we are all buy cakes from shops for any purpose. But let’s see how to make a homemade sponge cake today.


Maida  – 2 cups

Sugar   – ¾ cup

Vegetable oil   – ½ cup

Milk   – 1 ½ cup

 ENO fruit salt  – 1 teaspoon

             No need for baking powder, baking soda ,eggs,vanilla  and curd.We can make this cake very cheaply . 

        First set the cake pan  to be ready. Pour some oil in to the bowl and rub well . Those who have butter paper, put butter paper under the bowl. For those who do not have  butter paper, spread some Maida flour on the bottom .place these on the bottom and sides of the bowl. Remove any remaining flour. cake tin is ready.

            Take a jar of mixi .Add ¾ cup sugar to it. Grind it up. Add ½  cup vegetable oil or Sunflower oil to it. Add 1 cup of boiled and cooled milk to it.Put  these 3 ingredients in a moxie and Beat again. It can be poured in to a bowl. We get a creamy mixture. 

      Now add 2 cups of maida powder to it. Add the Maida powder in a little and mix well. Add together it can cause clots. While adding flour, if we add a little more milk we can get it without cloting. If it  had good thickness, you can add 1 or 2 teaspoon of milk.

         We do not add baking powder or baking soda. Instead of one teaspoon ENO fruit salt is added . We can add 1 teaspoon ENO  fruit salt. mix it well. Pour the flour into the cake bin .Well tap on it. If there are air bubbles, it will help to remove and level it. We can use any container with a base for this purpose. Then you can give it a stand in side of the pan.

         Preheat the pan for 10 minutes on low flame. Then put the cake bin into it. Then we can cook this dish in the sim mode. Bake it for 45 minutes on low flame. Now let’s open it and check the cake. Let’s see if we put a toothpick on it and check cooked or  not. Once the cake is cooled, we can take it off with a knife and release the sides. 

 Can be removed from the bowl. Sponge cake is ready.
