E grants is the educational assistance to all post matric students of SC,ST,OBC,economically weaker sections of society in kerala.we will get web based solutions through this application. We can apply online,processing, and sanction educational assistance. It provides this assistance to 3 lakhs students across the state .Students should be studying in post 10 th class for applying in this scheme. Applicants should be permanent residents of kerala. Students belonging to SC ,ST,OBC,OEC,socially economically backward communities can apply for this scholarship. SC ,OEC categories do not have annual family income limitations.
It is a centralized online grant distribution system. It is initiated by kerala. If students can’t apply online,it allows the institution to apply for scholarships on their behalf. Interested candidates should submit the application within one week from admission to a course.
This scholarship is based on academic qualifications, family income.The candidates should be domiciled in kerala. They should study at post matriculation college.They should take admission under merit quota. They can pursue degree,diploma, higher secondary, polytechnic,postgraduate, VHSE,professional courses.
The annual income of OBC should be less than Rs 1 lakhs. The annual income of other categories should be less than Rs 1 lakhs. This help is provided based on the category and qualifications. It is sent directly to the bank account of the applicant.
For SC ,ST students, get INR 630 to students studying colleges less than 8 km from home. Rs 750 get the students studying more than 8 km.Rs 1500 given to professional hostel students . For OBC students, this scholarship is Rs 160 for two students. Professionals, PG students will get Rs 200 for day scholars and Rs 250 for hostelling.
How to apply for e grant scholarship
- Visit official website of e grant
- Click the one time registration button.
- Enter the aadhaar number
- Enter name ,mobile number, e mail ID,password, date of birth.
- Then register it.
- After registration, enter login details and Sign in .
- Enter personal, academic, bank, institutional details.
- Upload documents.
- Then apply for a scholarship.select eligible scheme. Submit the application. You can check the status of e grant scholarship.

After registration, we can edit the application of the grant. We can use clerical login. Click apply for scholarship or grant. Select grant and class. You can change it and update it. We can save the changes. Then forward it to the HM portal . HM can’t edit it. If it has any adhar problem, you can send the school code, Admission number, problem ,they will give a reply.
