Ayushman Bharat Yojana Health Insurance is a national scheme aimed at making necessary interventions in Primary, secondary and tertiary health care system. Ayushman Bharat Yojana was launched in 2018 under the ageis of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Another name of ayush Bharat Yojana was Pradhanmantri Jan Arogya Yojana or National Health protection scheme. 
;It subsuming multiple schemes including senior citizen Health Insurance scheme, Central Government Health Scheme, employee State Insurance Scheme, Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana scheme.in Kerala 60 % Central Government and 40 % Kerala government. In this scheme aims to provide Health Insurance coverage to the unrecognised Sector workers belonging to the BPL category and their family members shall be beneficiaries under this scheme. It provides cashless insurance for hospitalization in public as well as private hospital.
The coverage include 3 days of pre hospitalization and 15 days of post hospitalization expenses and around 1400 procedures with all related costs like OT expenses are taken care of. It provide a coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family per year.
