For women in Kerala, get benefit Rs 2000 for 2 years

            The state government itself deposits an amount of Rs 2,000 into the accounts of women in the state. They get Rs 2,000 for a period of 2 years. We get about Rs 48,000 as the biggest support from the state government. This scheme has been modified so much that others can now apply. Women from all the 14 districts of the state can apply.

         This theme is named as Mathru  jyothi. This scheme is managed by the department of Social Justice. A lot of people still get the benefit of it. Now in this Mathru  jyothi scheme has been changed a lot. This scheme is for mothers with the visual impairment. This benefit is available to mothers who are above 40% of vision limited.

        But now this scheme has been modified. There are a number of different types of challenges  to be included in this scheme. Mothers who are experiencing mental challenges, physical disabilities and financial problems have been considered. In that case most eligible mothers  receive this benefit . 

      Now visually-impaired mothers can apply for this scheme. The application form downloaded from Akshaya centres. It is available in Malayalam . After filling this application form and attaching the relevant documents, it can be submitted to the district Social Justice office. Our state government has allocated around Rs 12 lakh for this scheme.  

      Financially difficult women will get all the benefits  for 2 years. You can also file a complaint if you are eligible and not receiving benefits.  People with visual impairment should have an annual income of less than Rs 1lakh. Visual impairment  needed should be 40 % or above.

         The application must be made within 3 months of pregnancy . If the application is given within three months ,they are entitled to 2 years benefit. Those who apply after 3 months will be eligible for benefits until the child is two years old. A lot of people in the future will benefit from this scheme.
