     Defending champion France will play their first game against Australia. They were Drone into group D. 5 time winner Brazil is the part of group G. They lock horns with Serbia in their opening encounter. But Portugal secured qualification from the European play off clash against Ghana.
      Canada was the first team to qualify for FIFA World Cup 2022. They made their second appearance at a football showpiece event. They will face Belgium in their round one tie. The FIFA World Cup 2022 round of 16 will run from December 3 to December 7. Quarter finals are slated for December 9 to December 11. Semi finals will be held on December 14 and 15. Bronze final is scheduled for December 18. The final will be played at lusail Iconic Stadium on December 19.

       FIFA World Cup 2022 will see 32 teams from 5 confederations compete. The teams have been divided into 8 groups of four (A to H). The top two teams will advance to the knockout stages. 64 matches will be played during the course of 29 days. Except for the first 2 days, four matches will be played each day during the group stages. Each of 32 teams will play three matches in the group stages before the knockout begins with the round of 16 on December 3. Qatar will kick off the 2022 World Cup against Ecuador.in Group Al bayt Stadium on November 20. France will play their first match against Australia at 12:30 a.m. IST on November 23.
