It was in 2003 the company unveiled their plans for a significant project, later known as Down Town Dubai consisting of Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. Dubai Mall was officially opened in 2008 where as Burj Khalifa in 2010.
Another large and unique project by EMAAR is the Dubai fountain which is the part of Down Town Dubai. It is the largest functional fountain in the world with a length of 275 meters. The company has also developed a range of residential projects such as Arabian Ranches, Dubai Marina, The Greens, The Meadows etc.
In 2004, the EMAAR international LLC was established spreading its markets to foreign countries. They launched a collection of luxury hotels in their brand name in 2004, this paving path to enter into business world of hospitality.
