Last Saturday electric auto rickshaws rolled out in Thiruvananthapuram for promoting electric mobility.Our industries minister E. P. Jayarajan inaugurated 15 autos which were manufactured kerala automobile limited.He was speaking at the inauguration of the export of neem G autos.
The main purpose of this electric auto is pollution free and eco friendly vehicles. This auto can travel up to 70 – 85 km on a single charging.Our co operation minister handed over the keys to the 15 women drivers.The subsidy will be ⅓.So far 25 orders have been shipped to Nepal.
In the first phase, about 25 women will benefit from it.About 700 women can turn it into a part of self employment. It is very useful for women.
This e- auto includes 3 passengers and e – rickshaw will carry 4 passengers. This auto battery operated with lithium battery. It should have GPS tracking system.
