Covid helps from central government

I would like to share with you the details of the benefits provided by Central Government. There are many benefits reached  to the common man at this point of crisis. In the time of this covid-19, the central government implemented a number of benefits. Various benefits, pensions and subsidies were first  remitted through Jan Dhan account. This is a popular bank account issued by the central government in August 2014. Rs 1500 was handed over to the women who were jan dhan account holders . This benefit lasted until June month.

The Central government has not taken a decision on the issue of benefits . The central government has allocated Rs 31,000 crore for this scheme . The Garib Kalyan Yojana has projects worth over Rs 1.70 lakh crore spread across the country took the money to the jan dhan account . Similarly there is an Ujjwala Yojana scheme for gas cylinder. This benefit is for BPL and AAY card holders.

Those who had not previously taken gas connections could  apply for this scheme. Those who are members of the Ujjwala Yojana scheme, had been receiving the required amount of gas cylinder for 3 months. Similarly the benefits of Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana had been received nationwide. It has been successfully completed in our state too with the participation of the central government and state government.

More than 40 lakh card holders in Kerala have benefited from this scheme. Each member of the card received 5 kg of rice and 1 kg of pulses. Again the central government has allocated Rs 90,000 for this schemes. So a person  in one card can get 5 kg of rice and 1 kg of pulses. Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has been extended till November.

Similarly people who do not have ration cards, or workers from other states have get 5 kg of rice from the scheme of Atma nirbhar  Bharat scheme. It was also decided to distribute them through ration shops. Everyone in our state as migrant workers will get this benefit. Those who do not have a ration card will get this benefit  if they submit affidavit. Please share this information to others.
