Cochin shipyard a central government institution in Kerala, has now received a new notification. Applications are invited for approximately 350 vacancies. Those who have completed IT, SSLC, vocational courses can apply for this opportunity. It is an institution under the central government. Vacancy is divided into two categories.

Stipend per month Rs 9000.
One year training period required.

Education qualification
Category 1
- Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary education (VHSE) in concerned vocation .
Category 2
- Pass in ITI in concerned vocation , certificate or provisional national trade certificate (NTC)in the designated trade approved for undergoing apprenticeship training.
- Those applicants having qualification equivalent to any prescribed qualification.
Age limit
- Age limit will be followed as per apprenticeship rules ( 14 to 21 years )
Reservation of vacancies
- Reservation applicable for SC, ST, OBC,EWS, Pwbd will be followed strictly.
Selection procedure
- Shortlisting candidates for selection will be done.
