Norka pravasi bhadratha scheme 2021

 

      Lockdown has been declared in most places in the situation where the covid-19 is increased. A lot of people have lost their jobs. Many ejxpatriates are unable to return to work. Therefore it goes without saying that financial difficulties are also increasing. This situation is very difficult to overcome.

      Covid-19 pandemic has taken root in nearly every country on the globe personal and economic life. Some countries have managed to control new cases while in other countries it is spreading . Many countries reopened their economies.

        It employs 20 lakh people in the knowledge economy. This project is supported by student and youth organisations. 49 crore Norka expatriates security entrepreneurship assistance scheme launched by Norka for those who have lost their jobs abroad due to covid 19 background.

        Three projects are being implemented. They are nano micro and mega projects. The nano scheme offers interest free loans upto Rs 2 lakhs. Loans upto Rs 5 lakh are available under the micro scheme. Upto Rs 1 lakh is provided as capital subsidy. The Mega scheme offers  interest subsidy loans ranging from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 2 crore.

      Nano scheme to provide interest free loans through kudumbasree to expatriate Malayalees and their family members from unskilled and low-income sector.

      The micro scheme provides self employment loans through various cooperative societies ,expatriate cooperative societies and Nationalised banks. The Mega scheme is a CM initiated financial assistance scheme implemented by KSIDC. Beneficiaries need to pay 5 percentage for this scheme which charges interest from 8.25 to 8.75 %

      An emergency assistance of Rs 5,000 has been announced for those who are unable to return to work due to lockdown. Priority will be given to expatriates in digital employment schemes, loan based entrepreneurship development programmes , service providers and marketing networks. The amount for various welfare schemes for expatriates has been increased to 170 crore.

The minister of health suggested that covishield and covaxine vaccines should be  taken before the expiry date. Many people complain that they do not get a second dose at the correct time. The Interval of covershield is  12 to 16 weeks.
