Natural remedies for cracked heels 

          Cracked heels are  a common foot problem, which can cause discomfort or even pain. Heels can crack when the skin around the heel becomes dry and thick,  increase the pressure on the heel, the skin to split. It left untreated, these cracks become deeper and it will be painful. It can become infected and lead to cellulitis.

 Home remedies

  • Using all natural heel Balm 
  • Avoid slipping,  be sure to wear socks after applying balm. 
  • Use petroleum jelly.
  • Keep your feet in lukewarm,  soapy water for 20 minutes. 
  • Use foot scrubber to remove hard skin.
  •  Pat your  feet dry.
  •  Wear shoes that protect your heel.
  •  You can also apply liquid bandage to prevent infection.
  • Honey can help and cleanser wound  and moisturize skin. It can be used as a foot scrubber. 
  • Coconut oil for dry skin,  it can help your skin retain moisture. It has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
  •  Vinegar for a foot soak.
  •  olive oil to moisturize
  •  Mashed banana to moisture.
  1. Prepare a mixture of one cup of Listerine,  1 cup of vinegar, 2 cup of water, soaking feet in the mixture for 15 minutes. Remove feet and Scrub using  stone. rinse with clean water. Dry and moisturize.
  2.  Make a scrub mixing 3 teaspoon of rice flour,  one teaspoon of honey, 2 to 3 drops of apple cider vinegar,  mix it well to form a thick paste. Soak your feet lukewarm water for 10 minutes and gently apply the paste to remove dead skin. 
  3. Mashed  2 riped banana. Gently rub the  paste. keep it on 20 minutes. rinse your feet with clean water. 
  4. Add 3 tablespoon of baking soda With warm water. mix well and soak your  feet for 15 minutes. rinse with water. 

Prevention 

  • Avoid flip flop and sandals.
  • Open back shoes 
  • Avoid shoes with skinny heel. 
  • Avoid  the shoes that are too tight.
  • Avoid standing in one position. 
  • Inspect your feet daily. 
  • Wear  good quality socks.
  • Use silicone heel cups. 
  • Drink plenty of fluids.
  •  Always moisturize the feet
