Today I would like to inform you about a happy news . There are a lot of patients in our state who do not even have enough money to buy medicine. Today I would like to share with you some comforting news that they are getting from the state of government.
It is very helpful to them.This scheme is called samaswasa padhathi.About 8000 patients are benefiting from this scheme. Now Rs 8 crore 76 lakh has been set aside to help such people.
Now this benefit is available for the treatment of four types of diseases. Samaswasam scheme provides financial assistance to 4 categories of patients. This scheme provides protection and care to weaker section of our community.
Eligibility
Applicant has an account in a nationalized bank.
Patient should be from BPL.
Dialysis patients,organ transplantation surgical patients,hemophiliac patients, sickle cell anaemic patients are included in this scheme.
Kidney patients under going dialysis from BPL families get financial assistance Rs 1100/ month. For those who have undergone organ transplant surgery will get Rs 1000/ month. This benefit is available for the first five years after surgery.
Hemophilic patients get Rs 1000/ month. Non tribal sickle cell anaemic patients get Rs 2000/ month.
We get application form from vayomithram office at municipality, ICDS project offices, panchayat/ corporation/anganwadi workers.
