Today we can inform you about ujjwala yojana scheme. This scheme was launched by prime minister Narendra modi on 2016. According to this scheme provide 50 million LPG connections to the women below poverty line. It has 8 crore customers. During this lock down the central government provided them with gas for 3 months.
Eligibility
The woman above 18 years of age.
The applicant must have BPL.
They get LPG connection free of cost.It provides Rs 1600 for each LPG connection.They get Rs 1600 under this scheme.This amount is distributed through Jan Dhan account.
Though this scheme has been discontinued across the country ,the central government has decided to restart this scheme. The central government decision was made to reselect 1 crore customers.
Applications for this scheme will be accepted very soon. Currently those who do not have gas connection in their home can apply for this scheme. If you know someone like that tell them about this scheme.
They get also the subsidy benefits. It is essential to have a Jan Dhan account to avail this benefit.
