Today I would like to inform you about the new law of labour.In the meanwhile a lot of changes are coming in our country. We get a lot of benefits from central and state governments. And change all laws of our country. Everyone in our country works in different ways.The four codes have replaced. Mainly change the codes of industrial relations, wages,occupational safety, working conditions and health.
Now a new change related to employment is coming.The provision of 48 hours per week is coming up. The central government is introducing a new code.You can work 12 hours a day for 4 days.Otherwise you can work 10 hours a day for 5 days. This covering all categories of employees. The purpose of this codes are regulate the conditions of labour, expand the social security,etc.
Otherwise you can work 8 hours a day for 6 days. There are many occupations in our country. Mainly small businesses,financial institutions, businesses,building constructions, commercial and industrial establishments, educational institutions, health sectors,clothing trades,etc. Each of us will be working in any of these areas.Therefore these changes will affect each and everyone of us.
According to new labour law, it will take 48 hours a week to work. Work four days a week.The remaining 3 days will be paid leave.
They prescribe the minimum wages are based on their skill and experience.
Under the new law, a company can lay off up to 300 workers without giving a reason.Strikes must be notified 60 days in advance.
A web portal for workers in the unorganized sector will be launched by June 2021.A free medical check up will be do for employees through ESIC .
