The Kerala life mission housing scheme has been launched by State Government in Association with Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana
It provides for all the landless and homeless people in the state. The scheme is for homeless people with an annual income Upto Rs 300000. The state government has come up with a complete housing scheme to provide shelter to about 6 lakh families.
Life mission is a separator section .currently up to rupees four lakh being provided for low income families. 3.5 lakh provided household do not own land or houses. There are 56000 families whose housing project have not been completed.A Unfinished homes will be completed by March 18. The scheme of life mission is to make a change in the the social sector of Kerala buy ensure the secure housing for all who do not own land with in next 5 years.
Life mission Scheme
Life mission scheme launched by pinarayi Vijayan falls under Pradhanmantri Aawas Yojana announced on October 2018 with the implementation of life mission project. Kerala government service to develop the housing sector as many as 5.13 Lakh residential units will be constructed for 5 years. The state government will have to spend Rs 4 lacs for the construction before handing over keys. The carper area of every houses will be equal to to 500 square metres. The life mission targeted people Who lost their homes due to natural calamities .
Eligibility for application
- All interested applicants must have their legal residential documents
- people belonging to this category will have to attach their professional certificates.
- Applicants will have to provide proper documents to support their claims.
- Income certificate
- people belonging to SC/ST must process their caste certificate .
- applicants need to mention their personal details
- They must attach scanned copies of voter card and Aadhar card
