Kerala State Electricity Board is an Indian public sector under the Government of Kerala. It generates, transmits and distributes electricity in the state. The charges depend on consumers including meter rent, fixed charges, fuel surcharges, duty and local taxes.
Consumers using upto 250 units per month will have a telescopic tariff.The first 50 units will be charged at lower rate. Rates increased for subsequent 50 units.After 250 units the electricity billing will be non telescopic. The slab rate will be applicable for electricity consumed.
