Balika Samridhi yojana for girls child

        Today I would like to inform you about a central government scheme. This scheme is called balika Samridhi yojana. It was introduced by indian government in 1997. The main aim of this scheme was support the birth of a girl child and her education. 

        This scheme support the economy of people belonging to SC,those who are living below the poverty line. It eliminates child mortality. It improves female child’s standard

Eligibility 

The family should be below the poverty line.

Should not be income tax payers.

Should not receive any pension from government.  Two female child from one family allowed 

Annual income should be less than Rs 2 lakh.

       The applicant will address their panchayat. Fill the application form.  The child will get Rs 500 during the time of birth.First standard to 3 rd standard will get Rs 300/year. Fourth standard  they will get Rs 500. In Fifth standard they will get Rs 600,Sixth-Seventh  standard they will get Rs 700 ,Eighth standard they will get Rs 800, Ninth – Tenth standard they will get Rs 1000/ year.Totally they will get Rs 4000.

     They can withdraw the amount when the girl turns 18 years.It is very helpful to them.

They can apply through anganwadi workers and health workers.
